APPOINTMENTS

Since we are a small office, if we are busy with a patient we may not be able to answer the phone immediately, so please leave a message with your name and number and we will try to return your call as soon as possible.
OFFICE POLICIES
Office Hours:
Our office is open Monday - Thursday from 9:30am-5pm. We are closed on Friday - Sunday.
Billing :
Full payment for office visits or phone/email consultations is due at the time of service and can be in the form of cash, check, debit or credit card.
Cancellations/Missed Appts:
New Patient MD Consultation
If for any reason you decide to cancel your appointment, your deposit is forfeited. However, if a scheduling conflict arises and you need to reschedule, we require a 1 week notification of your request in order to honor your deposit for another day. Otherwise, your original deposit would be forfeited, and you would need to provide an additional non-refundable deposit to secure any new future Initial Visit with Dr. Allen.
Due to the nature of our practice and the in-depth consultations, New Patient appointments with Dr. Allen are scheduled for one-two hours and it is hard to fill these slots last minute. Therefore there are no exceptions to our cancellation policy for New Patient appointments.
Established Patient & Therapy Appointments
Due to overwhelming demand for appointments, your appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 2-business days prior to your appointment time or you will be charged. Please call 916-803-7040. Phone calls are the preferred method of cancellation/rescheduling. If you choose to cancel or reschedule your appointment via email, you are responsible to make sure that email was received and responded to by our staff within the 2-business day time period. Failure to do so will result in a full charge of your office visit.
Our desire is to best serve our patients. Last minute cancellations/re-scheduling impact our ability to offer comprehensive holistic care to patients efficiently and effectively. We can no longer absorb the cost of patients missing their appointments. As soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule, please call the office so that we may offer your appointment time to someone on the waiting list. We also understand emergencies happen. We will consider these on a case-by-case basis. Appointments not cancelled within these guidelines or missed will be charged $80-$160 depending of type of appointment scheduled.
